I am a dedicated and compassionate board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, ready to deliver tailored care to the patients at Mindfulness Integrated Healthcare. With a career spanning over 14 years in the mental health sector, I have had the privilege of serving patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings before advancing my skills to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I completed my Post-Master’s degree from National University in San Diego, CA, in 2022, and graduated from the Nurse Practitioner Residency Program at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. I specialize in providing medication management for patients with various mental health disorders, including anxiety, PTSD, depression, schizophrenia, and addiction disorders. My approach to treatment is firmly rooted in the principles of patient-centered care. I believe in the power of active participation by patients and their families in the treatment process, and I strive to incorporate their goals and preferences into the provision of evidence-based care wherever safely possible.

Diosdado Dizon, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, PHN

With 19 years of clinical experience, I am a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate their mental health journeys. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University in 2018, and later earned my Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Herzing University, graduating in the top 5% of my class. In my practice, I specialize in medication management, providing a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to treatment. My goal is to help individuals achieve a balance in their mental health by offering medication solutions that are tailored to their unique needs. I work closely with patients to ensure they understand their treatment options and feel confident in the decisions we make together. On a personal note, I’m a proud father of two teenagers and have been happily married since 2006. Balancing family life has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of support and connection in maintaining mental well-being. These experiences allow me to connect with my patients in a meaningful way, offering both professional expertise and personal empathy.

Through my work, I strive to build trusting, non-judgmental relationships with my patients, ensuring they feel heard and valued. My goal is to empower each person to take an active role in their care, leaving every session with a clearer understanding of their treatment plan and a renewed sense of confidence in their mental health journey.
